A mature tree costs approximately £45 to £65 and Whips (2 to 3 years old) £4.

Ash dieback disease has devastated Ash woodlands across the UK.

Sadly, at the CYAT bunkhouse, Tyle Morgrug, we have had to fell a number of our Ash trees within the grounds to ensure the safety of users and the buildings.

As a Trust we want to conserve the woodland and the natural habitats that it provides. We are therefore dedicating funding to re planting mature trees and planting new ones within the grounds.

Our team of Trustees and volunteers spent a weekend in October 2021 planting out the first round of trees to replace the felled Ash trees.

Further hedge and tree planting will take place in the near future.

We want to continue re wilding this space through the sponsorship and pledges from our valued and longstanding bunkhouse guests.
